Nerys Tudor Jones
Director for Design and Technology Primary Consultancy (Curriculum for Wales)
With over 24 years’ experience as a teacher, including 6 years as a Deputy Headteacher, and subsequent work as an Educational Consultant, Nerys has now established her own Primary Design and Technology Consultancy.
She delivers courses, INSET days, and twilight sessions designed to help teachers feel confident and skilled in delivering high-quality D&T in primary schools.
Her training supports teachers in understanding what D&T is, how it underpins the four purposes of the Curriculum for Wales, and its vital role within STEM. As D&T now sits within the Science and Technology AoLE, many schools are recognising it as a key area for development — and I am passionate about helping them succeed.
Nerys has been working closely with Textiles Skills Centre developing resources for primary.
