FAQs

Who runs your courses?

All our courses and resources are created and delivered by highly experienced tutors who have worked across the fashion, textiles, and education sectors. They bring real-world knowledge, academic insight, and a passion for supporting textile teachers at every stage.

Who are your courses for?
  • Textiles teachers/trainers — including those teaching GCSE Design & Technology (Textiles)
  • School technicians
  • Learners and enthusiasts keen on developing textile skills
  • Primary teachers, among others
Do you offer any free resources or community events?
  • We offer free networking sessions: “Tea ‘N Chat” held monthly for teachers to share ideas
  • We have several open and closed Facebook groups to support community interaction
  • We offer free teaching resources, including lesson materials and student competitions
How do your courses support teachers?

How is the initiative funded?

We are largely volunteer-driven, with all operational costs covered by a central committee. Donations (even small ones) are used to maintain low-cost or free services, cover resource development, and support teacher training.
